Job DescriptionJob Description:

Our client is a leading insurance provider committed to delivering exceptional coverage and service to our clients. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated General Liability Claims Adjuster to join our dynamic claims team. If you have a proven track record in handling general liability and construction defect claims, possess excellent analytical and negotiation skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

  • Conduct thorough investigations of general liability and construction defect claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
  • Gather relevant information, interview involved parties, and inspect damaged properties or sites.
  • Interpret insurance policies to determine coverage applicability and limitations.
  • Provide clear and accurate coverage decisions to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Evaluate damages, negotiate settlements, and resolve claims in accordance with company policies and industry standards.

Salary/Benefits

  • $75,000 - $80,000 annual base salary (based on experience)
  • Flex schedule and ability to work remotely

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a General Liability Claims Adjuster or in a similar claims handling role.
  • 3+ years of handling General Liability Claims for a security guard account
  • Strong knowledge of general liability insurance principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with claims management software.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AIC, CPCU) are a plus.
