Kissinger Waynesboro William G. Kissinger, 86, of 15 Penn Waynesboro, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, in Chambersburg Hospital. Born Nov.

21, 1912, in York, he was a son of the late Stuart H. and Mary Alice Hellman Kissinger. Mr. Kissinger had served as vice president of Landis Tool where he worked more than 51 years. He began working there when he was 14.

Mr. Kissinger was a member of Waynesboro Church of the Brethren. He was a past president of Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce and was also a member of BPOElks lodge in Waynesboro, SCORE and United Way of Franklin County. He was a past member of the Rotary Club of Waynesboro. A graduate of Waynesboro High School, he was instrumental in the foundation of Waynesboro Municipal Golf Course (with Harold Rowe), and in the board of Harbaugh Church Cemetery, where he also served many years as the treasurer.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Marie Houser Kissinger; a daughter, Patricia Shaw of Grand Island, N.Y.; a son, William of Los Angeles, two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Myra Monn of Chambersburg and Mildred Haas, no address provided. He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Lochstampfor Funeral Home, Church and West Second streets, Waynesboro. The pastoral staff of Waynesboro Church of the Brethren will officiate.

Crist Chambersburg Helen M. Crist, 85, of 50 Feaster Road, died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998, in Mary Washington Hospital, Fredericksburg, Va. Born Jan. 29, 1913, in Marion, she was a daughter of the late Roy Milton and Annie Rebecca Cordell Cump.

She was a longtime member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Chambersburg. Mrs. Crist attended the former Brown's Mill School, Kauffman, and was an active member of its reunion committee. For many years, she was a seamstress at the former Stanley and Interwoven companies in Chambersburg. Most recently, she worked at Chambersburg Hospital.

For 44 years, she was an active member of the auxiliary of Greencastle Sportsman's Association. Adam Richard Crist, her husband, died on Feb. 22, 1970. Surviving are two sons, William E. of Chambersburg and Adam I.

of Fredericksburg; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Glen Cump of Greencastle and Paul Cump of Hagerstown, Md. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Corpus Christi Catholic Church. The Rev. Luis R.

21, 1998, in the nursing home. Mrs. Kauffman was in failing health for several years and critically ill since Thursday. Born May 9, 1910, in Wayne Heights, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Vesper Bloom McCarney. She and her husband, Blaine W.

Kauffman were married April 5, 1928, in Hagerstown, Md. They lived at the Loop Road address since 1942. They both entered the nursing home Sept. 24. In the 1930s, she worked at Waynesboro Knitting Mill.

She was later by Tracey's Fashion, Chambersburg, in the 1960s. In addition to her husband, surviving are five daughters, Phyllis K. Slike and Lois J. Thomas, both of Fayetteville, Sally A. Mumma and Nancy M.

Valentine, both of Waynesboro, and Susie B. Mealor of Gainesville, four sons, Blaine W. "Bill" Jr. of Houston, Texas, and Jackie John L. and James all of Fayetteville; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a great-great grandson; two sisters, Hilda Cover and Betty Smith, both of Waynesboro; three brothers, Charles McCarney and Harry McCarney both of Hagerstown, and Robert McCarney of Waynesboro; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, two sisters and two brothers. Service will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad Waynesboro. The Rev.

Keith M. Sider will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral Burial will be in Strang's Cemetery, South Mountain. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 452 E. King Chambersburg 17201.

Lucille C. Mason Shippensburg Lucille C. "Nana" Mason, 86, of 340 E. Garfield Shippensburg, died at 2:35 p.m. Saturday, Nov.

21, 1998 on her 86th birthday in Chambersburg Hospital. Born Lucia Mabel Saluto on Nov. 21, 1998, in Winchester, she was a daughter of the late Tommaso J. and Maria Ruffo Saluto. In December 1957, she moved from New England to Shippensburg.

She was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church, Shippensburg, and its Faithful Toilers Class. Mrs. Mason was retired from the Shippensburg Area School District, where she worked in the cafeteria of James Burd Elementary School. A Penn Laurel Girl Scout leader for many years, she was instrumental in the establishment and operation of the Girl Scout concession stand at the Shippensburg Fairgrounds. She also was a member of Fort Morris Chapter of the American Association of Retired Persons, for which she was a former secretary and newsletter editor.

She was a volunteer for Shippensburg Meals of Wheels. Albert A. Mason her husband, who was a former managing editor of the Shippensburg News- Chronicle, died April 9, 1978. Surviving are a son, Albert A. Jr.

(husband of Patricia of Shippensburg; a daughter, Shirley A. (Mrs. C. Richard) Weller of Shippensburg; three brothers, Alfred Saluto of Long Island, N.Y., George Saluto Sr. of Wakefield, and Theodore Saluto Sr.

of Las Vegas, eight grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; nieces; nephews; and her godchild, Edie Muller Graham of North Reading, Mass. Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Christ United Methodist Church. The Revs. Dr.

Jonathan C. Terry and James C. Richwine will officiate. Burial will be in Middle Spring Cemetery, Middle Spring. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 47 E. King Shippensburg 17257. Arrangements are by Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Shippensburg. Robert S. Little Chambersburg School, he was president of its Class of 1943.

He also was a 1950 graduate of Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, where he earned a bachelor's degree in pharmacy. For years, he was a pharmacist for the People's Drug Store chain, having been district manager in Vienna, Frederick, and Roanoke, Va. He retired Dec. 31, 1987. Mr.

Little was a jury commissioner for the Republican Party, having been elected to four terms the last one in May 1985. He and his wife, Victoria "Vicki" Martin Little, were married July 26, 1947, in First United Brethren Church, Greencastle. Before moving to the Eisenhower Drive residence on May 6, 1976, they lived in Waynesboro, Vienna, Frederick and Roanoke. He was an avid collector of Lionel trains and presidential memorabilia. He was a member of Acacia Lodge 586, Free and Accepted Masons, Waynesboro; Zembo Temple, Harrisburg; Republican Ben Franklin Society; Chambersburg Area Republican Club, with which he was active in campaigns; National Train Collectors Association; National Lionel Model Railroad Club; Norland Chapter 3261 of American Association of Retired Persons; and AARP's National division.

Mr. Little served on the board of directors of Franklin County Chapter of the American Red Cross, Chambersburg. For 11 years he was a volunteer at the Eisenhower National Historic Site, Gettysburg. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps.

In addition to his wife, surviving are two daughters, Vicki Lynne Waller of Conway, S.C., and Carole Ann Kline of Waynesboro; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack V. Sr. of Waynesboro; three nieces; and a nephew. He was preceded in death by a great a sister; and a brother. Service will be at 2 p.m.

Wednesday in Faith United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dr. Lynn D. Trutt will officiate.

Burial will be in Quincy Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad Waynesboro, where a Masonic memorial service will begin at 8:30. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, 96 W.

Sunday, Nov. 22, 1998, at home. He was in failing health since October. Born Nov. 6, 1925, in Waynesboro, he was a son of the late Alson S.

"Si" and M. Grace Snyder Little. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Waynesboro. Little A graduate of Waynesboro High Charles McKenrick Fayetteville Charles R. McKenrick, 50, Fayetteville, died at 7:45 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 19, 1998, in Chambersburg Hospital. Born Aug. 23, 1948, in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Patrick C. and Betty Henry McKenrick.

He was a plumber, employed by Joseph Reckley. Surviving are his companion and her son, Anita Mummert and Kevin Mummert of Fayetteville; a son, Shawn of Gettysburg; two brothers, John and Ronald, addresses unknown; and a sister, Sue, address unknown. Kelley R. Powell Fayetteville Kelley R. Powell, 38, of 120 Perry Road, Fayetteville, died Sunday evening in a motorcycle-pickup truck accident in Fayetteville. Arrangements by Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home Chambersburg, are incomplete.

See story 1A Eric Lee Wagaman South Mountain Eric Lee Wagaman, 14, of 4924 Spruce Road, Fayetteville in the South Mountain area was pronounced dead at 9:47 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 1998, at the scene of an allterrain vehicle accident on Coral Ridge Road, South Mountain. Born April 27, 1984, in Waynesboro, he was a son of William V. Wagaman Sr.

of South Mountain and the late Debra Jean Naugle Wagaman. He resided in South Mountain all of his life and was an eighth-grade student at Waynesboro Area Middle School. Eric enjoyed being outdoors. In addition to his father, surviving are a sister and a brother, Angel Ann and Mikeal both of South Mountain; a half sister and a half brother, Robin L. and William V.

both of South Mountain; a niece; a nephew; aunts; uncles; and cousins. Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in New Baltimore Church of God, 4749 Spruce Road, South Mountain. Pastor Lee E. Daywalt will officiate.

Burial will be in Strang's Cemetery, South Mountain. Friends may call one hour prior to the service in the church. There will be no public viewing. See story 1A Adeline Willis Newville Adeline Willis, 90, formerly of Newville, died at 5 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 1998, in ManorCare Health Services, Chambersburg. Born Oct. 16, 1908, in Lemasters, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Daisy Light Myers.

She was a member of Ridge Church of the Brethren, Shippensburg, and its Willing Workers Sunday School Class. Earlier in life, she worked at the former Penn Hall preparatory school and Letterkenny Army Depot, both in Chambersburg. George M. Willis, her husband, died May 1, 1988. Surviving are a son, Fred M.

of Newville; a daughter, Kay E. (Mrs. William) Willhide of Carlisle; two grandchildren; and a sister, Lois Weagley of West Chester. Three brothers also preceded her in death. Service will be at 2 p.m.

Tuesday in Ridge Church of the Brethren. The Rev. David Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the church.

Webster Cunard Jr. Chambersburg Webster Hayes Cunard 82, of Guilford Avenue, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, in Chambersburg Hospital.

Born Sept. 14, 1916, in West Chester, he was a son of the late W. Hayes Sr. and Anna Rebecca Gordon Cunard. He was a member of Second Lutheran Church, Chambersburg.

In 1971, he retired with 31 years of service from Letterkenny Army Depot, where he was a program analyst. He formerly was a selfemployed carpenter and painter. He also had been a surveyor. Mr. Cunard's hobby was restoring antique picture frames.

Vera Hilda Bowman Cunard, his first wife, died Aug. 28, 1968. Surviving are his present wife, Anna Gunder Crout Cunard, whom he married in Chambersburg; two sons, Mack W. of Shippensburg and Jeffrey (husband of Karen Dale) of Chambersburg; a stepson, Charles J. (husband of Brenda) Crout of Avon, Ohio; three stepgrandchildren; a brother, Robert (husband of Grace) of Morrisons Cove Home, Martinsburg, and a sister, Elmira Mearkle, also of Morrisons Cove Home.

A brother, four sisters and two half-sisters preceded him in death. Service will be at noon a Tuesday in Dalla Valley Funeral Chapel, Main Street, Everett. The Rev. Ruth E. Smith will officiate.

Burial will be in Everett Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service in the funeral home. Alberta V. Doyle Dover Alberta V. Doyle, 79, of Dover, and formerly of McConnellsburg and Everett, died Saturday, Nov.

21, 1998, at the home of her daughter, Charlotte T. Poet of 1876 Crocus Lane, York. Born Aug. 19, 1919, in Packwood, Iowa, she was a daughter of the late Calvin E. and Mabel V.

Mellott Long. She had resided with her son, Elwood Doyle of 54 Chipawa Dover. Mrs. Doyle attended Pennwood Bible Church, Everett. Over the years, she worked in food preparation at Wilson College, Chambersburg; as a clerk at Sunnyway grocery store; and as a machine operator at Pfaltzgraf, Dover.

John A. Doyle, her husband, died in 1967. In addition to her daughter Charlotte and son Elwood, surviving are another daughter, Shirley Ann Thomas of Mercersburg; two other sons, Alvin P. of Everett and Kenny E. of McConnellsburg; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; en; a sister, Arlene Meck of St.

Thomas; and five brothers, Lester Long and Fred W. Miller Sr. Fred W. Miller 79, of 9123 Fort McCord Road died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, in Chambersburg Hospital.

Born Aug. 31, 1919, in Leedy Station, he was a son of the late William L. and Annie Mae Shaffer Miller. He was a member of Edenville United Methodist Church. Until 1 1968, he owned and operated W.L.

Miller Orchard, Edenville. Since then, he worked for Sprint, retiring in 1984. Mr. Miller also was a member of the Moose lodge in Chambersburg. Surviving are his wife, Helen R.

Shatzer Miller, whom he married in 1942; a son, Fred W. Jr. of Tioga; two grandchildren; a sister, Evelyn Bender of Fayetteville; nieces; and nephews. Two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death. Service will be at 2 p.m.

Wednesday in Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home 6492 Lincoln Way West, St. Thomas. The Rev. John F. Rauhut will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and one hour before Wednesday's service in the funeral home. For the convenience of friends, doors of the funeral home will be open from 2 to 9 p.m.

Elsie Rolar Shippensburg Elsie Jeannette Stunkard Rolar, 84, of 105 Oak Lane, Shippensburg, died at 12:06 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, in the Neurosciences Critical Care Division of Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore.

Born July 3, 1914, in Six Mile Run, Bedford County, she was a daughter of the late Marshall Clay and Olive May Foor Stunkard. She was a former medical assistant in Everett, and was a retired secretary and stenographer for the U.S. Department of Labor in Washington, D.C., and in Chambersburg. A 1933 graduate of Broad Top High School, Saxton, she also graduated from the business curriculum of Strayer College, Washington, D.C. Her memberships included Presbyterian Church, Shippensburg Civic Club, Shippensburg Historical Society, and past matron of First Court Chapter 470 Order of Eastern Star, all of Shippensburg.

Surviving are her husband, William Donald Rolar; a son, William Charles Rolar of Shippensburg; a daughter, Rebecca Anne (Mrs. James Ellingsworth of Shippensburg; two sisters, Eunice S. Smith of Cape Coral, and Anna M. Vantine of St. Cloud, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Presbyterian Church of Shippensburg. The Rev. Dr. John C.

Berstecher will officiate. Relatives and friends will be received one half hour prior to the service in the church. Private burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of Presbyterian Church, 12 S. Prince Shippensburg 17257.

Arrangements are by Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Shippensburg. Ruth E. Fulk Rouzerville Little Ruth E. "Bette" Fulk of 14060 Harbaugh Church Road, Rouzerville, died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov.

22, 1998, in Quincy United Methodist Home, where she resided since Nov. 3. Born in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Della Tolbert Peters. She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church, Waynesboro, and its Adult Sunday School Class. She was a leader of the church Missionettes and a member of Gideon International.

A 1939 graduate of Chambersburg High School, she worked at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, during World War II. She later was transferred to Frankfort Arsenal, Philadelphia. Mrs. Fulk also was a member of South Franklin County Camp, Wayne Heights Homemakers and the National Division of American Association of Retired Persons. For numerous years, she worked at the election polls in Rouzerville.

She and her husband, Clarence O. Fulk, were married on Jan. 17, 1942. They moved to Waynesboro in 1955 and to the Harbaugh Church Road residence in 1967. In addition to her husband, surviving are a son, Gary E.

of Waynesboro; two grandchildren; a sister, Ethel Adams of Chambersburg; a brother, Richard Peters of York; nieces; and nephews. Two sisters and a brother preceded her in death. Service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Calvary Assembly of God Church. Pastors Dwan Newsome and Walter Stuart will officiate.

Burial will be in Harbaugh Church Cemetery, Rouzerville. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad Waynesboro, and onehalf hour before Wednesday's service in the church.
