WELCOME TO LOCKHART CAPITAL MANAGEMENT

Lockhart Capital Management is a boutique Financial Planning & Wealth Management firm that provides independent financial advice and wise counsel to a limited number of individuals and families. The firm was founded in August 2017 and quickly became one of the most successful boutique launches of its time. We now manage over £600m for our clients via our Private Investment Office where our aim is to preserve and grow their real wealth over time. We have in excess of 120 years of Wealth Management experience between us and co-invest alongside our clients to ensure that our interests are fully aligned with theirs. As a reflection of our experience, knowledge and professionalism we have been accredited with the prestigious “Chartered Financial Planners” status by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

Lockhart Capital Management is a Partnership with no external shareholders and we work alongside Benchmark Capital who provide us with best-in-class technology solutions and support services that we use to enhance our client experience.

Jon is one of the founding partners and CEO of Lockhart Capital Management. He has almost 30 years experience in the Financial Planning and Wealth Management sector and for the last 13 years was a Senior Executive of a major National Wealth Management firm where he was responsible for running a team of over 80 Financial Planners & Wealth Managers.

Jon lives in Sevenoaks and when not spending time with his wife and three daughters, enjoys cycling particularly in the French Alps.

Bryan is a Chartered Financial Planner and one of the founding partners of Lockhart Capital Management. He has nearly 30 years industry experience, 17 of which were with a leading national Wealth Management firm prior to establishing Lockhart.

Bryan has provided financial planning advice to private individuals and their families and has extensive experience in managing the affairs of professional partners, business owners, senior executives and lottery winners. He has particular expertise in bringing context to their finances that allows them to identify, prioritise and strategise what is important to them before helping them execute their plans efficiently and effectively.

Bryan lives in Aberdeenshire and is married with two children. A former Scottish Golf Internationalist he enjoys golf when time permits and spending time with his family when it doesn't!

Andrew is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst and one of the founding partners and CIO of Lockhart Capital Management. He designed, built and led the highly regarded and successful John Scott & Partners (then “Towry”) discretionary investment service and was managing c£6bn by the time he left what was then Tilney, where he also served on the Advice Policy Committee. He built award-winning analyst (and support) teams, including for Best Multi Asset Investment Portfolio Manager (UK) in 2016, further selecting from these professionals for Lockhart Capital Management. He has been managing portfolios for High Net Worth clients for over 20 years, regularly appears at conferences and in the media and was named in the top 100 most influential private client fund selectors in 2013, 2014 and 2015 by Citywire.

Andrew lives in Maidenhead with his wife and two children. Andrew plays Chess, enjoys following geo-politics, and has an avid interest in statistic-heavy US sports

Toby is a Chartered Financial Planner and one of the founding partners of Lockhart Capital Management. Having worked for the majority of his 20 year career for two leading national Wealth Management firms, Toby, alongside his fellow partners, set up Lockhart in 2017. For the past 20 years, he has been providing advice to individuals on a wide range of financial planning matters.

In addition to business owners, professionals and lottery winners, Toby also advises recipients of significant personal injury and clinical negligence awards.

Toby lives in Leeds and outside of work enjoys playing golf and skiing with his wife and two sons.

Chris is a Chartered Financial Planner and one of the founding partners of Lockhart Capital Management. For the past 13 years he worked for a major national Wealth Management firm where he provided advice and counsel to a select group of lawyers, entrepreneurs and lottery winners.

Prior to that, Chris worked for a prominent London based family office where he gained significant experience in how the very wealthy structure and protect their wealth. He is a member of the UK society of Investment professionals and has been commended in the 2010, 2014, 2015 & 2016 editions of the Spear’s 500 HNW Wealth Managers index. In the recently published 2022 edition he is listed as one of the top recommended HNW managers in his field.

Chris lives in Cobham, Surrey and when not working enjoys spending time in the French Alps with his wife and twin children.

Stuart retired from Saga in 2015 where he spent 15 years as CFO. During that time Saga passed from family to private equity ownership and finally through an IPO to become a public company in 2014. In 2007, Stuart also became CFO for Acromas, the Private Equity backed company that acquired both Saga and the AA. The AA also became a public company in 2014.

Prior to joining Saga, Stuart worked for two years at the advertising group Cordiant Communications as Deputy CFO and for ten years before that at the advertising group WPP Group plc in various positions. Stuart qualified as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG in London.

Stuart lives in Sevenoaks with his wife and three children and his interests include cycling, travelling and music.

Pete has worked with Andrew and Robert for 12 years, specialising in portfolio implementation and operations and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. He has successfully managed outsourced relationships and operations teams responsible for the implementation and risk oversight of large multi-asset portfolios and fund of funds. He believes that simple and repeatable processes are key to delivering a risk-controlled operations environment. Pete has a reliable network of contacts in the industry aiding portfolio implementation and ensuring we maintain strong relationships with the underlying fund managers. In his spare time, Pete enjoys spending time with his family and playing/watching sport.

Jenni is a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society having joined Lockhart in February 2018. She works closely with our Founding Partners and Directors in the provision of advice and financial modelling to our clients. Her talents were rewarded when she was placed by Citywire in the Top 35 Next Generation Advisers under 35 in 2017 and has recently won 'Paraplanner of the Year 2020' by the PFS Society.

Jenni lives in Guildford and has a passion for keeping fit and running, having completed a marathon and several half marathons. She is also a keen baker and enjoys socialising with family and friends.

Julie is a Chartered Financial Planner with over 30 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Lockhart Capital Management, Julie was a Senior Client Partner at Coutts & Co for the best part of 20 years, advising Ultra-High Net Worth clients on all aspects of financial planning. She then moved to a large Wealth Management firm as a Senior Director and was appointed a member of the Strategy Board.

Julie’s strengths are on building long term relationships based on trust and adding value to a clients overall financial affairs. She takes time to really prioritise their personal goals and objectives, and to develop a financial plan to meet these needs ensuring their finances are fully aligned with their short, medium and longer term plans.

She is able to demystify often complex situations and relay these to clients in a manner they understand to achieve the planning strategies being adopted.

In her spare time, Julie enjoys travelling, spending time with her husband, two sons and walking their two Golden Doodles!

Carol has worked in financial services for 30 years. Prior to joining Lockhart Capital Management, she worked with Tilney, a national IFA, corporate banks and an accountancy firm. Carol is a qualified financial planner, a member of PFS and Consensus Scotland.

Carol lives in Aberdeen and enjoys travelling the world and can also be spotted in the foothills of the Cairngorms with her black labrador and ponies.

William is a Director at Lockhart having joined from a major national wealth management firm where he was both a Partner and Team Leader in their London office. Prior to that William worked for a global bank specialising in guiding and advising international clients.

As a fully qualified Financial Planner, William advises families on all aspects of their financial planning and wealth management needs although he has a particular interest in estate planning and the efficient transfer of wealth between generations.

During his career William has worked alongside tax and business advisers at some of the largest accounting practices in the UK and believes that working together with his client’s professional advisers is fundamental to achieving cohesive financial planning outcomes.

William splits his time between London and South Devon, where he spends his downtime enjoying an array of outdoor pursuits with his wife and two daughters.

Charles is a Yorkshire Financial Adviser of the Year 2020 and 2021 Finalist and specialises in wealth planning for high net worth individuals and business owners. He is a Chartered Financial Planner and his expertise lies in planning and building personal wealth, retirement planning, exit strategies and estate / inheritance tax planning.

When not behind his desk or spending time with his family, Charles is a keen cyclist and can regularly be spotted climbing the routes of the Yorkshire Dales for charity.

Justin is a Director at Lockhart, having joined from a large national wealth management firm.

A true believer in the value of holistic financial planning, Justin is adept at working alongside his client’s other professional advisers. His personal practice encompasses all areas of retirement, investment and protection planning for individuals and trustees. However; he has a particularly strong interest in the areas of estate planning and the provision of advice to vulnerable and potentially vulnerable persons, or those seeking advice on their behalf (such as attorneys and deputies).

Justin is a Chartered Financial Planner, a fellow of the Personal Finance Society (PFS) and holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC - level 4). He is also a registered Trust & Estate Practitioner and full member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP); having completed the Diploma in Tax & Estate Planning (E&W), including the Advanced Certificate in UK Tax for International Clients.

Justin lives in Kent with his wife and three young children, where they enjoy the countryside, the seaside and renovating their 1750’s home.

Wee-Tsen has spent his career in multi manager investing either as a fund researcher or portfolio manager. Working with some of the largest pension funds and wealth managers globally has fostered a broad and differentiated perspective to his understanding of multi asset investment.

Wee-Tsen used to enjoy travelling frequently and experiencing new cultures, in particular their cuisine, however, now spends the majority of his time researching nursery rhymes for his young daughter
