It was an amazing experience to learn about keywords that fully summarized 📜 the history of ETHICON and to see the historical products from the 1800s-1900s that were actually airlifted directly from the Johnson & Johnson Museum 🏛 from the U.S.The expert at the exhibition said they were lost in memories recalling the fond, old days with J&J products😂 back in the day.❓ ETHICON, how much do you know?🗓1887: The first mass production of sterile sutures that led to the beginning of modern sterilization therapy🧵 12 laps around the Earth: Production of suture materials that can wrap the Earth more than twelve laps every year🪡Six times the thickness: A thin but sturdy needle in a suture only three to six times thicker than a strand of hairI wanted to share the Legacy Museum in full vivid detail with everyone, and have brought great news that you can experience the same in the Metaverse🎉It's available in Korean but still you can feel the atmosphere(Link above☝🏻)👋🏻 In the next post, we will be back with live sketch videos of our Sales and Marketing team members.(Don't forget to Like, Subscribe and hit the notification button!🤭)

ETHICON과 함께한 첫번째 이야기📜Legacy of Innovation 혁신의 역사를 써내려 온 ETHICON 이번주 화요일 저희 사무실 캔틴에서는 Johnson & Johnson MedTech 의 ETHICON 사업부에서 작은 전시회와 맛있는 디저트를 준비해주셨는데요~ 🎁보통은 의사분들과 업계 관계자분들이 참석하시는 세미나에서 저희 제품을 소개하기 위해 만드는 조형물인데, 다른 사업부, 계열사분들에게도 보여드리고자 미니 사이즈로 제작하셨다고 합니다!멸균이라는 개념이 없던 1887년 세계 최초로 멸균 봉합사를 대량생산한 것을 시작으로 🩺외과 수술의 역사와 발전을 함께한 ETHICON꾸준히 새로운 기술을 통해 발전해 온 봉합사, 지혈제, 절삭기 등 🩸치열한 수술 현장에서 직접 쓰이는 저희 제품을 실제로 보고 관련 이야기를 듣는 아주 유의미한 시간이었습니다🤓💡ETHICON의 어원은 Ethic 과 Confidence를 합친 단어라는 사실도 처음 알게 되었는데요!'환자들이 더 오래, 더 건강하게 사는 데에 기여하자'라는 에티콘의 윤리적인 목표와 그에 대한 확신이 마음 깊이 와닿습니다.Johnson & Johnson의 발자취 하나, 하나에서 느낄 수 있는 우리의 신념(Our Credo), 다시금 가슴이 웅장해지는 순간이었습니다.#johnsonandjohnson #medtech #ethicon
