Salary $85,000 - $125,000 per year

Job DetailsOur growing practice is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team of tax experts. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of proven tax accounting and compliance experience. This is a full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, and trusts
• Conduct tax research and provide guidance to clients on tax-related issues
• Assist with tax planning and strategy development for high-net-worth individuals and businesses
• Review and analyze financial statements and other accounting records to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
• Identify and resolve tax-related issues and discrepancies
• Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to provide tax-related advice and support
• Mentor junior staff members to ensure high-quality work and professional development
• Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations and provide guidance to clients accordingly
• Utilize CCH and CCH ProSystem to maximize efficiency and accuracy in tax preparation and filing processes

Qualifications

• CPA certification required
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including corporate tax returns, estate and trust taxes, and high-net-worth individual taxes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
